My name is Jonas Lieberknecht. After Chinese Studies at Edinburgh University and a couple of years donning a suit for work, I followed my passion for doodling and studied animation at Film University Babelsberg.
I work in and around Berlin as an illustration and animation freelancer and occasionally teach courses related to animation and art. In 2021, a few colleagues and I founded Studio Krokodil, an animation and illustration collective based in Berlin. Check out our projects at www.studiokrokodil.de!
What is parazoid?
I don't really know. I made it up. It's where my animations, illustrations & characters hang out. Wikipedia, however, has this to say:
"The Parazoa are an ancestral subkingdom of animals, literally translated as "beside the animals".'
